West Coast Camporee
The camporee will run from Tuesday, 7/15/25 through Saturday, 7/19/25, and will once again be held at Lodgepole Campground, located near Alpine Lake on CA SR 4. You will be in camping in cadres arranged by your club, cooking your own meals, setting up your own tents, and there will be various craft activities as well as hiking, archery, marksmanship, an obstacle course, canoeing and more.
2025 Pinewood Derby
This event was held Saturday, February 1, 2025 along with an Ice Cream Bar offered as participants and guests were arriving. Check out some of our cars and see the list of winners in the different competitions

Golden Bear Council Pinewood Race and Spaghetti Feed
We’ve changed things up a bit for this year and are offering an Ice Cream Bar rather than our traditional Spaghetti Dinner and also moving both events to the Middle School Gymnasium at Ripon Christian Schools. There is a suggested donation of $5:00 for the Ice Cream Bar. We will still have Audience Choice Judging from 5:30 to 6:15 and hope to start the race around 6:30
Golden Bear Pancake Breakfast
Come join us for a delicious breakfast featuring: pancakes, eggs, sausage, ham, coffee, juice and milk. Tickets available from your local cadet or at the door. Tickets are $8.00 and under 8 eat free.
2023 Pinewood Race and Spaghetti Feed
Car Registration Starts at 4:00.
Dinner is served from 4:00 to 7:00
Judging and Audience Choice Judging begins at 5:30 and the race begins at 7:00
